NHS Pension Claims Terms & Conditions of services

Our Terms & Conditions

The initial stage 1 fee of £995 including VAT, is payable as soon as you have been invited to sign up for the claims support service and start uploading your data. This fee is non-refundable, due to the amount of work required to process and check your information and analyse the data, to be able to produce your initial report. We allow a 14-day cooling off period should you change your mind and not require our services. If this is the case, please email support@nhspensionclaims to request a cancellation & full refund. We will not start working on your case file until 14 days have elapsed and we have received your initial fee.

When you have received your stage 1 initial report and feedback, you will be in a position to be able to decide if you wish to progress to a Level 2 or Level 3 service. Once you have decided it is in your best interest to proceed with a full claim under the McCloud Remedy, you will be invoiced for the additional fee, for either the Level 2 or Level 3 service, and we will progress your claim as requested. Once your balancing payment has been received, we will carry out the additional work required in support of your claim.

We work alongside you, your accountant and financial advisers, to help complete any necessary NHS/HMRC forms in support of your claim. This may well need to be completed by you online and you will likely be provided with your own personal login details. We expect you will need to upload documents and evidence. Being prepared and having all that you need to make a claim when the opportunity presents itself will undoubtedly prove invaluable, particularly for the more complex claims. We cannot act as your HMRC tax agent as you are only permitted to have one, and they do not accept letters of authority.

All our reports have been produced using information that you have kindly provided from a range of sources including the NHS, third parties and personal knowledge. McCloud Remedy Ltd t/a NHS Pension Claims, can therefore not guarantee total accuracy. We also need to make some assumptions with regards to forward forecasting. Please be aware that a range of issues can influence these figures, such as inflation, taxation, changes in personal circumstances, legislation etc, resulting in different outcomes to those predicted. As this can never be an exact science, this report is to be used for guidance purposes only. We have of course made every effort to achieve accuracy wherever possible. If you have any questions in regards to the content of your report or should you see an error in your data, please let us know immediately so we can make the necessary changes and issue a revised version as required. Should your circumstances or data change and you require an update, please do not hesitate to ask as we would be delighted to help at any time.

Please be aware that there is no guarantee that NHS Pensions, the NHS Actuary or HMRC will accept all of your claim for overpaid tax or compensation. The final settlement of you claim is therefore an unknown entity. There is therefore no guarantee that they will pay all or part of any professional or tax agent fees as part of a claim.
